Homemade Hamburger Helper

Homemade Hamburger Helper
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 cups dry elbow noodles
2 cups milk
1/2 cup water
8 oz tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup cheddar cheese

1. Brown hamburger and drain
2. Mix milk, water, tomato sauce, and spices into hamburger, add dry noodles. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat, let simmer until noodles are tender, about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
3. Add cream cheese and cheddar, stir until melted.

This is also great with a can of veggies drained and thrown in- corn, mixed vegetables, peas.
